    A fuller assessment when you need a deeper view of your Proxmox infrastructure.

    Scope: One site, up to 3 nodes and 20 VMs/containers, uncomplicated local storage or shared NAS, and one backup platform.

    A single host can still need a deeper assessment. Ceph, multi-site dependencies, complex storage or extensive investigation receive an individual quote. We explain the scope and fee before you book.

    Both reviews assess agreed configuration and evidence. Production changes, repairs, migrations, restore tests and ongoing incident support are separately scoped. Unverified areas are identified in the findings.

    Just need help with a specific question? Focused consultation is £80/hour, with time and outputs agreed before starting.

    ? How long is a typical consultation?↗

    It all depends on how much work / support you need! Usually it's no more than a few hours, but for the more planned consultations, it may be weeks!

    ? Do you work remote or on-site?↗

    Mostly remote — secure remote tool, remoting into your PVE Node. On-site is available in the North West Of The UK, billed at the same hourly rate plus travel costs.

    ? What do you need from us to start?↗

    Read-only access to the Proxmox UI, an idea of what you want to change, and someone who can answer questions in real time. We send a short questionnaire after the initial contact.

    ? What if the scope changes mid-consultation?↗

    We re-quote before doing the extra work. If we come in under quote (it happens), we refund the difference without a fuss.

    ? Can you help with non-Proxmox stuff?↗

    Sometimes. Linux ops, basic networking, ZFS storage, and PBS backups — yes. Application-layer stuff (k8s, app deployment, dev work) — usually no, and we will tell you up front.
